Oh – and did we mention the pancakes? It’s all happening at the buzzing Burlington.

There’s loads going on at the Burlington Hotel this month – from Salsa to Quiz Nights and from Pancakes to Pole Dancing. Whatever you’re into, take a look at this brilliant events calendar. You won’t want to miss a thing!

 

Tuesday February 5
It’s Pancake Day, so bring the kids along from 12 noon – 3pm or from 6-9pm. For just £1 per pancake you can sample a selection of serve-it-yourself yummy toppings.

Wednesday February 6 and Wednesday February 20

Electric Jamm Nights, sponsored by Ivy Arch Studios, 8.30pm. Here’s a chance for local musicians and songwriters in all musical styles to play and be heard. It’s fast gaining popularity and is unearthing some great local talent. Hosted by Dominique LeVack. Free entry, and all players get a drink.

Tuesday February 12
Passion Girls Fitness Taster Session, 7.30pm.. Free event
Get fit with a difference, by learning how to move around a pole and dance Burlesque style. It’s a fun way to improve muscle tone, flexibility and posture, and is suitable for complete beginners. The taster session will inspire you to get with the jiggy for 2008 - and six-week courses begin on Tuesday February 19. Wear shorts, t-shirt and trainers.

Wednesday February 13
Music and Showbiz monthly Quiz Night at 8.30pm. Come and test your music and showbiz brainpower - with the hostess with the mostest, your very own Gill Etter. Entry £1.

Thursday February 14
Valentine’s Night Salsa Extravaganza. Choose from a Dinner and Dance Salsa style, with Latin Masters from 8pm. You’ll enjoy five courses and a half a bottle of pink fizz per person – at £44 inclusive.

Foot-Stomping Blues, 8.30pm. Live music event with John Crampton.

Friday February 29
Battle of the DJ's, Club Seven, 10pm. Four new DJs spin their tunes for a chance to host a night in March. Come and shake your booty to choose the best.
